When did you start tattooing?
My first experience tattooing was around 1989-1990. Life took me in another direction focusing on painting and I wouldn’t pick up a tattoo machine again until 2000. By the mid 2000’s a couple of long time friends who were well established tattooers graciously guided me into a full time career.
What do you love about tattooing?
I love the conversation and connection with clients.
Describe your current style of tattooing?
I like to keep things simple, to the point, and playful while following the traditional foundations of tattooing.
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream and why?
Vanilla. Keep it simple.
Who are your biggest influences in life/art?
Life itself influences my art these days. Nature and paying attention to the things around me.
If you were a superhero what would your name/superpower be?
Ron Rash, communicating with animals.
